DÄVELOMECH / a true identity

DäVeloMech - The Bike Mechanic in Swiss German is none other than Beni Rust. With over twenty years in industry servicing the best bikes Switzerland has to offer, Beni wanted to finally move into his own. He needed a solid logo and identity to literally have him hit the ground running. Thats exactly what I gave him.

The Concept

The concept was solid clean typographical base with a unique deconstruction and a Black and White colour palette. Once created we set out to use this identity in a handful way using graffiti stencils and handmade wooden stamps on his brand collateral and Bike Workshop.

We wanted to bring the shape and form of mechanical cues to life in his Logo. The concept was solid clean typographical base with a unique deconstruction and a Black and White colour palette.

Beni needed an info hub based on a simple and cost effective website that connects all the Branded elements together with Swiss precision.

Once designed I knew this identity belongs on Apparel. So we commissioned up some simple designs on organic cotton T’s and some iconic Flexfit caps that came out just as we suspected. Absolutely dope!
